Activity one: the first settlers

Hello everyone it has been a long since I have made a post so here is one. This is one a post from the summer learning journey so thank you to you  guys for setting this up it is a great thing to do so children can keep their learning up and a fun way to do it.

For this activity I am going to tell you three facts about maui:

.Maui's brothers always made up and excuse so he could not go fishing with them.
 
.Maui dreamed of the day that he could go fishing with his older brothers


.Maui is the best fisherman ever!!

    Hi there Emily, my name is Billy and I am from the Summer Learning Journey programme. It's great to see you are blogging during your summer break.

    Thanks for sharing three facts about Maui. It's strange how is older brothers were so mean to him. Why do you think that was? Was it just because they were older and that's often how older brothers are? At least my older brother was.

    Have you read any other stories about Maui before? One of my favourites is how he discovered fire.
