  1. Hey Emiley,

It's Jade C from the Summer Learning Journey team! It's awesome to see you working through the activities on the weekends as well! It's been really sunny today, how's weather
down in Christchurch? I went to church in the morning and had nice lunch with my friends!

I like your google drawing of your classroom! I think it's absolutely amazing idea to have a mini kitchen inside the classroom for cooking lessons. I love cooking and baking so if I had my own classroom I would have my students in groups and every group would get to do cooking & baking once a week. What do you want to have a go at making? Mine would be chocolate pastry rolls with some pistachios sprinkled on top.

Perhaps you could've had more detail in your design, such as the teacher's desk, windows, door, and whiteboard! Would you want some bean bags or couch to sit on and do your work?

I enjoyed reading and commenting on your blog today, I hope to read another blog of yours soon!

    All the best,
    Jade C.

  2. Morena Emiley.

Its Clare here from the Summer Learning Journey, I am part of the Summer Learning Journey and I am part of the AKO HIKO cluster which is in Auckland. I am a teacher at Intermediate there.
Its really great to see you are such an active blogger and are getting the tasks done on the SLJ.

You have done a fantastic job here of google drawings of the classroom and placed all the things in the classroom where you want them. Maybe you could share some of these ideas with your teacher and they could incorporate these ideas into how they plan the classroom at the beginning of the year? What do you think.

Keep up the active blogging and learn create share.

    Clare
